Dr Mehmet Bona

Mehmet completed his MSc “Numerical taxonomic studies on some Centaurea species” in 2006 and PhD “Morphological and taxonomical research on Turkish Lepidium” in 2010 at İstanbul University, Institute of Science, Division of Botany in Turkey.

He then worked at İstanbul University, Science Faculty, Department of Botany and Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany. He is now based at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh where he is working on Pterideceae, Lepidium, and Centaurea.
